best debit card for Asia- including China?

In need a a good debit card to use in Asia, including China. Not to many fees> Have never use a debit card before but will need some money in several countries. Any information would be most welcomed.

Are you Canadian? If so unless I have failed in my research there are no debit cards with any real advantage. They all charge a fee so when you make a withdrawl, make it as large as you can. In China this ranged from 1000 to 3000 yuan. Try for the largest amount and if you get refused go down in 500 yuan increments.

 

Get a debit card from one of the major banks. I used debit cards from TD and from Scotiabank. Be sure to tell the bank what countries you are going to and when.
