RoupMom Posted July 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2011 So, I was looking at our cruise docs for mid-August and noticed that they said embarkation at 1 PM. I was thinking it was always 11:30. Does anyone know? We will be coming a short distance from east of Seattle, so it makes a difference on our transportation/eating plans. Thanks in advance. shippmates Posted July 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2011 When they tell you 1PM for embarkation is just a recommendation to miss all the crowds. You can get to the port at 11:30 and board the ship as soon after that time.
catl331 Posted July 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Check-ins will start around 11:00 and boarding will start around 11:30 IF the previous cruise disembarked without any delays.
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 6, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2011 IF all has gone well and the previous passengers have gotten off the ship -- the embarkation process will begin around 11 PM. We got to the pier 91 shortly after 11 -- went through security -- checked in. By 11:40 we were on the ship. One new item for HAL -- once you are on the ship -- you can go directly to your cabin to drop off your carry-ons and then go to lunch.
