UpstateCruizer Posted July 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I've been trying to check the prices for our upcoming cruises and each time I get a message saying the categories are not available. This message comes up for any cruise I check. This is the link I have saved http://www.carnival.com/BookingEngine/FareViewer/# Is there another link or an updated one that works? Anyone else having this issue? It's been doing this for the past couple of days. Thanks~!
BeccaBecca1713 Posted July 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Hmmmm....just tried it. When I enter the security code I just get the loading symbol.:( Edit: now I got an "I'm sorry" page from Carnival saying IT is aware. Let's see how many days/weeks it takes to get fixed. BeccaBecca1713 Posted July 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I also notice my saved cruises aren't showing up. Carnival has one of the worst websites! Grrrr.....
pe4all Posted July 7, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Thanks, everyone! I was ready to throw my Mac out the window - thought it was the computer not loading correctly! Can't access my booking, either...

kayleesmeme Posted July 7, 2011 #9 Share Posted July 7, 2011 It worked for me. I even had a lower rate. YEAH !!!! but when I tried to file the claim form - it wouldnt let me. Kept telling I need to check a booking . I tried them all. I will try again a little later. Its only $40 but that is almost a bottle of grey goose from the bon vonage dept. And I love that waiting in my room when we board.
UpstateCruizer Posted July 7, 2011 Author #10 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Thanks everyone for replying :) I too thought it might have been my computer which is why I asked if anyone else was having issues. I just got it to work so hopefully it's all good now. I was hoping for some price drops but no such luck yet :)

Fareviewer, can't make payments etc. It's embarassing how many times things don't work on that site. Bill
Sauer-kraut Posted July 7, 2011 #13 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Well, its not working for me now, it won't let me enter a sail date. I still have 17 days before sailing.

mdrobtx Posted July 8, 2011 #15 Share Posted July 8, 2011 I agree, Carnival's website is horrible. I hate trying to look at excursions. It won't scroll or load correctly.
Angiet75 Posted March 2, 2013 #16 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Guess what? Yep not working again. Seems whent hey have a sale it never works. Could it be that when you use it you get a lower price then if you walk through like you are booking your exact cruise? HMMM
wbc12345 Posted March 2, 2013 #17 Share Posted March 2, 2013 It isn't working for me either. Hasn't been for two weeks now.
skyeman27 Posted March 2, 2013 #18 Share Posted March 2, 2013 It isn't working for me either. Hasn't been for two weeks now. When the sale is over I predict fare viewer will start working. Carnival cannot sell you anything from Fare Viewer, it's just info. If Carnival can get you to their web site (store) checking cruises, for whatever reason, then Carnival can possibly sell you a cruise. One of the purposes of any sale is to get the consumer into the store. Fare Viewer not working as it should helps Carnival's store visits...When you get the fare viewer error message you get directed right to the Carnival site, hmmmm, guess I'm a little paranoid... jayscore Posted March 2, 2013 #19 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Something on the CCL site that doesn't work? Amazing!:p The CCL site crumbles on a regular basis, unfortunately....:(
skyeman27 Posted March 3, 2013 #20 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Have been to the Carnival web site many times dealing with 8 completed cruises and 2 more booked, without it ever crashing on me. Just seem to have problems with Fare Viewer not working when Carnival has an ongoing sale event...Maybe just coincidence...
