ckdmom Posted July 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2011 One last question before we leave!! Because we are bringing 3 children, we booked 2 cabins. We have mom and 2 kids listed in one cabin and dad and 1 kid in the other cabin. The cabins are next door to each other, but not adjoining. Can they key our two cabins the same so that dad and mom and kids can easily go back and forth? Or, can we have them key mom and dad the same and all 3 kids the same since that is how we are really going to be staying? Should we ask or will Carnival frown on us letting our 3 kids in a cabin without an adult??

They will make keys for each room (not the kind you can charge on) so you will each have keys to each other's rooms. No problem. I believe the cruise line allows children to be next door or across the hall from parents. My grandkids are 16, 14, and 11. I'm not sure if there is a minimum age of kids to be able to do this, but as long as your kids are well behaved, I don't think there will be a problem. How old are your children? ckdmom Posted July 14, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted July 14, 2011 The kids are 14, 11, and 8 and they are well behaved and used to being in public places with us. I am not concerned about behavior. The pursers desk in on the ship??? Sorry for these strange question, but it is our 1st cruise!

They gave us extra room keys so we could get into each others rooms.
