Emerald Princess 11/8/11 Zumba Classes

I know Princess said a few months ago that they were training staff to have Zumba classes on their ships by the end of this year. Has anyone been on the Emerald lately and do they have Zumba classes? I do a number of Zumba classes each week and would miss it on a 10 day cruise.

I saw Zumba times scheduled in the Patter on our last cruise but didn't check it out.

Tell me, what it is? I know it's an exercise group, but is it for older people too? Why don't they just call it aerobics? Must be something different.

Please enlighten me.

Thanks.

There was Zumba on the Crown last January. They lasted an hour and no charge and are a lot of fun to participate in or just to watch. Enjoy them. I am loooking forward to them in October.

Loved doing Zumba onboard, since so many other people there were as klutzy as me. Totally non-intimidating. I keep thinking I should try Zumba at 24-Hour, but I'm scared of all those wildly coordinated, ferociously fit 20-year-old women in Spandex.
