Laundryroom hours and prices, Caribbean Princess

My cabin is very near the Caribe deck laundryroom, and I am wondering if the laundryroom is open 24-7-365, or what hours specifically, if anyone remembers. I wonder if I will be hearing the machines and the slamming doors when I am trying to sleep. Any idea about machine operating costs? Thanks in advance.

We have been right across from the laundry room on one cruise and we heard nothing at all.

Laundry room is open from 8am to 10pm

On the May 1 repo cruise, the laundry was $1 per wash and dry the first and then changed to $2 per wash and dry the rest of the cruise!
