Lunch on embarkation day on the Sun?

Sorry if this has been posted before but can anyone tell me if lunch is served on the day of embarkation?

 

We're sailing Saturday and probably going to try to board as early as possible so I'm wondering what the food situation is going to be.

The buffet is open on around noon on the ship when you arrive. :D So dont worry you wont go without eatting till dinner :eek:

and the lines weren't that bad, either, despite the fact that everyone was eating - also, around sailaway time, a barbeque buffet opened up at the pool desk, two serving lines.

The buffet ia definitely open on embarkation, but one of the dining rooms also opens at noon. We prefer to go to the dining room and have a relaxing meal after the hustle and bustle of the embarkation process.

ron answered; I was about to say: we had our choice of the dining room or the buffet. You will never go hungry on any ship, whether it's embarkation day or any other day. NMnita

Was on the Sun on New Years Day and all of the above is true...but I would suggest to go light on lunch as the BBQ is pretty tasty but we had gone sorta wild at the lunch buffet and couldn't enjoy the BBQ. Luckily, they had it again at a later sailaway.

 

Have a great cruise...I am jealous!
