Interesting article but we as a cruising public are better off with more owners in the cruise industry. I for one would love to see things like they were years ago when most cruise lines were not owned by two corporate giants.

I agree. NCL needs to survive and be sucessful. They have changed in the last seven or eight years for the good.

I think Carnival is to big as is

The more competitors, the better prices and quality the cruising consumers will get.

 

Fresh blood keeps the BIG old blood on their toes and evolving. (like Carnival adopting the Your Time Dining, which has kept me from trying out NCL thus far)

 

It's like the cell phone business.

If it ever winds up just being Verizon versus AT&T all cell phone consumers will lose.
