jetskier Posted August 7, 2011 #51 Share Posted August 7, 2011 It's all in where you pack them, I pack one on my wife's beach bag with all the sunscreen and the other right next to my shave kit with razors and aftershave bottles and cans of shave cream....You just need to camoflauge them ...Dennis Just pack it next to B.O.B. and they will be less inclined to look. kujobie Posted August 7, 2011 #52 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Not only that, but you're assured NOT TO LOSE A PENNY in their casino!! So right there I would come out ahead! ;) :D Tom Indeed! That's the only thing that's stopped me so far. I'm not a big gambler, but I do like to play the slots once in a while, when there's nothing else to do. If they had a casino, Id be platinum on DCL.. Rare crewsweeper Posted August 7, 2011 #53 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Okay, if RR's aren't getting through. the next great thing, and I saw them yesterday in a store, Wine-a-ritas! Package of mix. Add your wine from your allotted 2 bottles over ice shake or stir and pour. Not too bad. Fruit flavors would go good with one of those light whites like Gazela vinho verde. Luke gs Daddy Posted August 7, 2011 #57 Share Posted August 7, 2011  I have wondered about pockets. Those smaller rum runners would fit in cargo shorts quite easily. I really don't care since I am a blended drink kind of gal. Since I found out I can't bring my Magic Bullet, I figure I will just buy them from the bar.;) Our family has been on 5 Carnival cruises and our Magic Bullet has made it on all of them. And the rum runners too, along with the mixes.
CWcruisers Posted August 7, 2011 #58 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Success these days is more luck than anything else. I've been on 54 cruises. I know how to camoflauge a rum runner. The above statement is correct. Don't know if it's a bigger crack down in CA now or what, but several of my friends have been busted recently too. Maybe because the media is over-hyping the whole Mexico safety issues, CCL is cracking down harder on CA cruises because they are loosing revenue on cabins. crzycick Posted August 7, 2011 #59 Share Posted August 7, 2011 LOLOLOL! Now THAT'S funny!!! We have always taken full unopened bottles on board with no problems. But others are right about also buying drinks on board. We have hefty S&S bills at the end. Aside from the obvious money maker, I think the policy is more for the twenty-somethings that get wasted and annoy the other guests. (and because the room stewards don't want to clean up after a sick drunk) Eeeewwww! Besides, Carnival is one of the only lines that allows you to bring wine on. That's a perk. Stereotype much? The most obnoxious drunk people I've experienced were much older than 20s. People of all ages can act like idiots when drunk, or sober.
nick_091909 Posted August 7, 2011 #60 Share Posted August 7, 2011 And we'd all like them to enforce the rules about pool chairs but that's not going to happen either. Seriously. Thats a rule that could use a step up in enforcement!!!

I've packed an entire suitcase with liquid contraband for a decade and never had a problem until last year when they took booze from my carry on and checked luggage. It's a crack down. CalaDragonflyLady Posted August 15, 2011 #62 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Whats next Bubble Butt Bottles? The warning label states not to sit when strapped on. Heheh, or bosom bags, just don't hug anyone!

That is exactly what I was thinking... just because you fall within a certain age range does not mean you are DEFINITELY acting a certain way. Do twenty-somethings get loud and crazy? Sure they do! Do thirty-year olds? You bet! And if they're anything like my grandma... goodness! :p
