need to know if possible to do in one day

We will be docking at Kings Wharf at 11AM. October 31, 2011 ( a Monday).

We want to go to The Caves and The Aquarium, zoo and museum and then back to ship and we can walk around Kings Wharf.

I am assuming it wont take long to go thru two caves and then thru the zoo and aquarium. If not possible in the time fram we have, we will bump the caves and do the zoo/aquarium only.

Just need to know how to get to these places from Kings Wharf. We will be getting the transportation pass for one day. We have booked a private driver to give us a tour of the rest of the island the next day.

Thanks so much.

This is one way I could see you do it. Assuming you clear the cruise ship by 11:30am, immediately buy your transportation passes at the Visitors Information Center(s). There are 3 located in the Dockyard.

Go immediately to the ferry dock which is located to your left as you leave the wharves. Take the 12:00pm ferry to Hamilton; this ferry may become crowded as the cruise ship passengers want to go to Hamilton. As you leave the ferry terminal in Hamilton, take a right onto Front St and hire a taxi for the ride to the caves. The fare will be about $22.00 for 1-4 passengers. You want to get to the caves as soon as possible before tours start to arrive there. At the caves, tour only 1 cave. The tour is about 45 minutes long per cave plus any waiting time. As any cruise ship excursion arrives, your waiting time will get longer.

As you leave the access road to the caves, take a right onto Wilkerson Ave and walk until you see the Swizzle Inn (about a 7 minute walk). Look for a Pink Pole bus stop opposite the SI and wait for a inbound route #10 or #11 bus. As you board the bus, tell the bus driver your destination (BAMZ). The last admission to BAMZ is at 4:00pm http://www.bamz.org/plan_your_visit.aspx so plan accordingly.

When done at BAMZ, go to the bus stop you were let off at and board the next inbound bus to Hamilton. Walk from the Hamilton bus terminal to the ferry terminal for the ferry to the Dockyard.

Thanks so much. That sounds like a winner. If I find we are running late, we will kill off the caves since we have seen some fantasitc ones in the US and just do BAMZ.

If you decide not to go to the caves, don't bother spending the money on a taxi (SBtS suggested a taxi because that would be the only way to cover all that ground given your arrival time in Bermuda) and instead take the #10 or #11 bus from Hamilton to BAMZ. Just reverse the directions he gave in his last paragraph...when you get off the ferry in Hamilton, walk up the hill to the bus terminal, and take an outbound #10 or 11 bus to BAMZ.
