Can anyone advise me to whether there are towels in the princess wilderness lodges or do I need to pack my own????

The Princess lodges are full service AAA 3 diamond hotels. I am sure they supply towels. You can go to their websites to view amenities

Having stayed at two of the lodges I can tell you that they have all of the amenities normally found at all hotels, including towels.

Of course they give you towels. It's a hotel. If you have time in Fairbanks and need to stock up on wine, etc., go to Fred Meyer.
