Coki Beach

A few years ago the local government was supposed to take over Coki Beach and do a complete renovation. Does anyone know if this has been done?

It looks like they are still working on it as of June.

They are still working on it, looks like itll be really nice once completed near the end of the slow season. From what I can see there will be a nice vendor plaza, easy wheelchair access and a nice restroom/shower facility. As of now, there is much improved parking, police presence and they even added two active life guard stations. I love Coki, always have. Nice to see the improvements moving along.
