Have I made an error?!

Hi I had booked a C4 guarantee cabin on QM2 which subsequently came through as C3 as there were no balcony cabins available when I booked they were sold out? I looked a couple of days ago and B5 guarantee were available for not a lot more than we had originally paid so I contacted the agent and eventually they managed to get one for me. I have now seen that my original cabin is showing as available at nearly twice what I paid for it! What I really want to know is are the sheltered cabins if that is what I get better than the ocean view or have I made a bit of an error. I appreciate you being honest with me!! Thank you

The sheltered balcony cabins are better than ocean view, well I think so anyway. You get as much light as you would in an ocean view cabin and have the option of getting some fresh air when ever you feel like it. The cabins are about the same size but then you get the "extra" space on the balacony. I am sure you will be very happy with your new cabin.

I think you made a good move. The oceanview cabins are all very far forward, which IMO, is not good in rough weather. Your sheltered balcony may turn out to be in a better position on the ship. I like the sheltered balcony cabins. I've had them twice, and have booked one for my next cruise on QM2.
