Langley Cruisers Posted September 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2011 What "bad experience" are you expecting, or concerned about?
Archie4 Posted September 7, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Hopefully none but have read about some concerns about noise etc in other threads. Not that I intend to be in the cabin for much more than sleeping I hope!!!
marci22 Posted September 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2011 The only think I can think of is that your door may open onto the elevator waiting area. For ex, my kids had cabin #9322 on an Explorer sailing, and when the door was open, anyone waiting for the elevator could look directly into their room. It's not obvious from the deck plans which rooms are affected. 9320 and 9324 did not have this problem. We would not book this room again for this reason. Kladam Posted September 7, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2011 I've had simuliar cabins on 8 and 9. Before the hump and the hump. No problems at all.

roscoegirl Posted September 10, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2011 There really are no problems with any "hump' cabins...very convenient! Hi...I've read here on CC that the hump cabins under the Royal Suite can be noisy due to the piano in the RS. I have cabin #9618, directly under the RS...has anyone ever experience a problem with that cabin? Thanks... I'm keeping it anyway, just want to be prepared...Thanks!:)
roscoegirl Posted September 10, 2011 #9 Share Posted September 10, 2011 There really are no problems with any "hump' cabins...very convenient! Hi...I have cabin #9618, under the RS on deck 10...I've heard that if the pax in the Royal Suite use the piano, that it can be annoying...any experience with this issue?? BTW: I'm keeping 9618 and hoping the occupants of the RS like jazz!:)
