Rare Terre Posted September 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Does Carnival allow you to bring a corkscrew on board or will it be confiscated?
B and C Blake Posted September 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2011 It is allowed but if you forget yours just ask your steward. Last week ours went and got us a nice metal one like we have here at home.:D I left it there after we were finished before anyone asks, LOL
BOSN Posted September 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Carnival, YES, no problem. TSA, NO. Will be confiscated if on your person or in your carry on. Must be packed in your checked luggage if flying.

Chris&Krystal Posted September 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2011 So, if you use your own corkscrew and open your bottle of wine in your room and take it down to the dining room, will they still store and chill the wine for your for the week or will they only store and chill if they cork? Thanks! Chris
Back That Aft Up Posted September 9, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 9, 2011 So, if you use your own corkscrew and open your bottle of wine in your room and take it down to the dining room, will they still store and chill the wine for your for the week or will they only store and chill if they cork? Thanks! Chris The dining room will store it even if you uncork it youself. However, keep in mind that the corkage fee has nothing to do with who uncorks the bottle, it is about consumption. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should guests wish to consume this wine/champagne in the dining room.
