Hotel with shuttle or cab??

I was wondering which is better hotel with free shuttle or stay close to port and get a cab? Would the hotel shuttle be really hectic in the morning?? We want to be at the pier @ 11 am. Any suggestions?? thanks

Shuttles at any hotels in either city ( FLL or MIA) can get filled, as you sign up for the shuttles when you register. You limit yourself to hotel choices and give up personal schedules by tying yourself into the shuttles to the port. And remember, some charge, so then it's not a great value.

Sorry about that. We are leaving from FLL. How easily will it to get a cab in the am?? We don't arrive to our hotel until 9:30 pm. I figured the shuttles will be full at that time. How much on average would a cab cost?

What hotel? Cab from hotel to ship in the immediate FLL area can be $10-20.

Getting a cab will be easy. At check in just ask them what time you should call down to the front desk in the morning prior to needing the cab.
