Car Rental at Port of Miami

I read on a CC thread a few days ago that Alamo, at least, has a van pickup at the Port of Miami (something their phone agent denies). Do any other rental companies pick up? Do they take you to the airport or do you go to a closer rental location?

Hertz has a van pickup for their downtown location. The onlty time we used it, we had to wait since it would get full before it got to our pickup spot.

We rented a car in Miami after a cruise in June. We took a cab to the airport but during the rental process the agent ask if we had taken the shuttle from the cruise terminal. We told him we hadn't because we didn't know about it. So I know they do offer a shuttle. Unfortunatley, I can't remember which rental agency we used.

Hertz is downtown not too far away, Alamo is at the airport I good distance away. We've done both but like Hertz better. It would not be a pricey cab ride to get there.
