Coral Princess Mini Suite D712

I have this mini suite on hold for a Southbound Alaska cruise for August of next year. I knew I wanted a mini suite WITH a totally covered balcony on the port side. Believe it or not, there aren't a lot that fit that criteria ! Does anyone have experience with that cabin or that block of AC mini suites? Thank you.

We had D-712 for Alaska in 2007 and loved it since it provided protection from the elements. In fact we've already reserved D-705 (decided to see what is visible from the other side of the ship :D) for our next Alaska cruise next year! Make sure you walk to the aft deck -- hardly anyone goes out there and you have beautiful views of where you've been!

I have sailed in D707 on the Island Princess and the aft mini suites are very nice. As mentioned you can access the aft deck for wonderfully viewing on glacier days. Enjoy :D

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Making this kind of financial commitment you want to make sure to choose the best. Didn't want to risk not getting a covered balcony for Alaska. ;)
