Last time we had a butler (on Celebrity), I tipped him to stay away and not bother us. If we wanted anything, I told him we would contact him. I found him far more a nuisance than an asset. Was annoying and bothered us by knocking and calling to ask if we wanted anything. He couldn't grasp the concept we didn't want to be bothered with those nuisance calls. IMO, he was close to worthless.

 

We way prefer the combination of excellent cabin steward and Concierge (and Neptune Lounge) on HAL. Anything we've ever needed or wanted is easily accomplished with them.
