What to do in Pattaya?

Aussie Gal

Recommended Posts

We will be on the Ocean Princess in April and we are docking at Laem Chabang. We will be in port from 7am until 6pm. We have been to Bangkok a number of times and so we do not want to make the long journey from this port to the city.

We would like to know of a Private Guide or a Private Car driver that we could use whilst we are in the vicinity of Pattaya. I have also read about an island which is accessible from Pattaya where we could go to swim.

Can anyone help us with any information. Thanks.

Hi Jennie,

This site could give you a start with some ideas.

We have also cruised from Laem Chabang and stayed in Bangkok pre cruise, so if we called in there again we would be looking for something local.

Thanks David for the help. I don't understand why Princess is docking us so far out of Bangkok when we are on a small ship that can go up the river. When we were on Oceania's Nautica in 2008, we went right up the river in both Bangkok and Ho Chi Ming City. It was so much more convenient and we didn't waste all that time in travelling on those busy roads.
