6 of us Posted September 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2011 HI!! I leave Sunday !! HAPPY DANCE!! So while on board my cruise, Carnival offers deals for a future cruise if you purchase right then... what is that deal? Seems like I read that you get a discounted deposit, $100 per person, & that will reserve your spot on a future cruise with on board credits... anyone know the details ? I can't remember :D Thanks much!

okwriter Posted September 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2011 I think (?) I read here that if you are on a ship that doesn't sell them, you can order one from Carnival within so many days of returning from your cruise. Maybe someone else can recall the details. firefly333 Posted September 25, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2011 You can buy it within one week after you come back if you call. Get the number to call while you are on the ship if you can. Thats what people posted anyway.

Yes you can. I am on the Imagination in 18 days and they don't sell them either so my PVP told me to call special promotions ext 70021 to purchase. You have 7 days from your return to call. I plan on calling the day after I get home and buying at least one, hopefully 2 if I don't spend all my money while I'm at the Casino :D
C Cruise Dude Posted September 26, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2011 This link explains it. http://www.carnival.com/Funville/blogs/faqs/archive/2010/09/02/what-is-the-loyalty-and-cruise-vacation-program.aspx You only get OBC, no discount or discounted deposit. full deposit required. Fire, help me out. I understood the rep on my last cruise as stating that it cost $100, I would get $100 onboard credit when I booked and is there some immediate credit when you purchase or is that just NCL?
barefoot cruiser Posted September 26, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 26, 2011 no immediate credit, and the future on-board credit will depend on the cruise length you use it for.

shadoo Posted September 26, 2011 #10 Share Posted September 26, 2011 If you don't use these certificates, do you just lose your money or is there some way to redeem them for money back?
mrpayroll Posted September 26, 2011 #11 Share Posted September 26, 2011 If you don't use these certificates, do you just lose your money or is there some way to redeem them for money back? If you return them by the expiration date ( info on back of certificate ) you get the $100.00 back as credit on your credit card that you used to purchase them...
