I will be on board a Princess ship and want to do a future cruise certificate.

 

Can anyone explain how it works? Heard they changed the rules recently.

 

Also, information on a future cruise deposit.

You should post this on Princess' board. But in general, you visit their future cruise consultant on the ship, pick a future cruise you want to book and they will put the deposit on your sign and sail card. It's a reduced deposit of $100. You will also receive an on board credit, the amount of which depends on length of cruise and cabin selected.

You can also buy a FCC without designating a cruise, it just sits in your account.
