MSRussell Posted October 7, 2011 #14 Share Posted October 7, 2011 I agree about the banana split. It doesn't seem smaller at all, and it hits the spot. Melanie
mompolo Posted October 7, 2011 Author #15 Share Posted October 7, 2011 I am a true chocoholic and all my desserts always involve some type of chocolate. I kept waiting for another type of chocolate dessert - but there wasn't any. One of the nights it was a little over cooked and not as gooey - but the last night was the absolute best and that's the one I'm remembering. Oh yea - just the one little scoop of vanilla ice cream that comes with it is all I had with it.

Congrats on joining those who Cruise For Warm Chocolate Melting Cake. Doc I'm sad now! It's still over 300 days until, I too, can cruise for wcmc. I've never tried it, but being a chocaholic, I'm certainly looking fwd to the challenge.

Name Of The Game Posted October 7, 2011 #21 Share Posted October 7, 2011 The chocolate melting cake is too rich for me but I did order a banana split which would have been quite large for a young child.
beachbum53 Posted October 7, 2011 #22 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Believe it or not, with all of the dessert choices, Warm Chocolate Melting Cake included, I wish that there was a place on the ship to get a good, thick hand-dipped milkshake. Maybe when the Guy's Burger Joint is added (ala Carnival 2.0), they'll be available with the burgers and fries.
ScubaSteveFL Posted October 7, 2011 #23 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Been There, Done That... TWICE! On The Glory in 2010 and The Sensation in 2008. Will probably do it again onboard The Freedom in Feb. :D

Not sure if they were hand dipped, but he loved t hem!
