Can anyone tell me if it's ok to take a few bottles of wine on board or will it be confiscated?..seems some company's allow it and others don't..anyone have the answer..lol..

Yes you can take wine on board. If you drink in your cabin, that's fine. If you take it to the restaurant you must pay corkage. We find the carafes of house wine to be fine, except for the Rose.

Thanks for that advise Jeanlyon..that's nice to know we can take some with us to enjoy on the balcony..lol..we'r away on the Azura 28th Oct..T/A..so plenty of time to enjoy a few glasses at sea..lol..i sound a real wino now don't i?..lol..but hey..why not!!..lol..

Some people find it easier to take a wine box as it won't break and fits in the fridge (if white or rose of course!).

We took a bottle of proseco onboard the Adonia in our hand luggage and they didn't care.

 

As long as you don't bring a fully stocked bar I think they allow a few bottles in the hand luggage.

That's great news and good advise about the box instead of bottles..lol..just need to find a large box of each now..lol..Hardy's Stamp or Jacobs Creek will do fine!
