ck53 Posted November 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2011 As previously mentioned, $20 for both blackjack and slot tournaments. The lotto is like Mega Millions, but I think it is only 5 numbers you pick and it is for a dollar. The Secret Agent night can be slightly different depending on ships. On the Jewel, Agent night was the casino host w/ a microphone asking questions and whoever answered first got a prize. (tee shirts, key chains etc) On the Enchantment, everyone got a ticket and if your number on the ticket was called you were asked the question and then got received a prize. Both were fun, I sort of liked Jewel better because youcould yell the answers out. Don't know about "Celebrity Heads" Hope this helps!

medfordgirl Posted November 5, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted November 5, 2011 thank you for the answers. Now that I know the slot tournament is $20, I think I will give it a try... can you tell me how it works. I will probably get some lotto tickets too. When can you buy them. is it all or nothing? like do you win something with 3 or 4 numbers like a regular lottery? Or do you have to get all 5 numbers and win a jackpot? Don't know much about Bond movies, may have to skip that one. And lastly....anybody know about "celebrity heads" in the schooner bar?
jsmeeker Posted November 5, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2011 thank you for the answers. Now that I know the slot tournament is $20, I think I will give it a try... Ought to be like any other slot tournament. You get a set amount of credits to play through and a set amount of time to play through them. Any winnings are totaled up on a separate counter instead of simply being put back into the pool of credits. Any credits NOT played are lost. There may be multiple rounds with a set number of people with the most winnings per round advancing to the next round. They keep going as needed to have a winner, and then I suppose 2nd, 3rd, etc... down to how many places pay out.
Parramatta Posted November 5, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 5, 2011 Hi Medford Girl Celebrity Heads is something we do in Australia, you get a sign put on your head that says who you are, usually you do it with a couple of people. The people with the signs get to ask questions till they work out who they are and whomever gets it correct first wins.Sort of a more embarrassing version of animal, mineral or vegetable. Parramatta thank you for the answers. Now that I know the slot tournament is $20, I think I will give it a try... can you tell me how it works.I will probably get some lotto tickets too. jackretired Posted November 5, 2011 #8 Share Posted November 5, 2011 The format of the blackjack tournament, IMHO, is very bad. It is very short. You do not have time for skill to do you any good. You might as well take your entry fee to the nearest slot machine.
rummenroman Posted November 5, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 5, 2011 Lotto tickets are $2 per line. It is inter-linked (prize money only) with all ships for Royal, possibly for Royals sister lines. Drawing is usually at midnight. Match 3 numbers win $100 Match 4 numbers win $1000 Match 5 numbers win the jackpot, lowest I've seen it was 120k highest was 395k. medfordgirl Posted November 5, 2011 Author #11 Share Posted November 5, 2011 thank you so much everyone... Never did a slot tournament or knew anything about them, but now I know and I think I will give it a try..at least once. Lotto tickets, is a YES, will buy. $422K sounds like a nice chunk of change. Celebrity heads sounds fun (doubt my hubby will do it but I would love to give it a try) black jack tournament is a NO. I think that covers everything. Again thanks Now I get to try new stuff on a cruise....:D
