room service menus

If you do a search of this board, you will find postings that have included photos of the room service menu.

On embarkation day, room service doesn't really start until the dinner hour, as staff are busy delivering suitcases, making sure rooms are ready, and so forth.

There is no room service breakfast on disembarkation day.

There is no take-out. Most ports forbid taking food, other than pre-packaged sealed foodstuffs, off the ship. There are often heavy fines for taking fruit, meat, cheese, dairy products, and so forth, off the ship. This is to protect local agriculture. If you need to have a snack with you for medical reasons, most people take pre-packaged granola bars from home. The same is true for baby food -- only sealed packages should be taken ashore.

Exactly right. A friend was fined $400 for bringing a banana into Chile.
