I could not find the exact answer, so here is my question. If a category below what you booked, in my case balcony to ocean view is advertised at a lower rate, does that qualify. Or is it only when your category and above go lower than what you paid? Thanks for the help.

Getting OBC for a price drop is for your category only. Exact cabin. If it drops on a category above yours, you can pay for an upgrade to the other category.

You have to match the number of people and your category.

 

If a HIGHER category is less, then you have to agree to give up what you have and move.

 

No downgrading is allowed.

 

Are you asking about moving from a balcony to a OV? No you cant, and so it doesnt matter what a lower category price does.
