another tipping question

I know princess adds a gratuity to our bill every day per person and that we can and do tip our steward at the end of cruise. However, whether in MDR or other parts of ship and drinks or snacks ordered and delivered, do you also need to tip then when signing for the bill?

Drinks have an automatic 15% added when delivered.

 

If you are getting table service and getting multiple drinks on a soda,UKP or coffee card, a small tip to the server would be appropriate as they are not seeing the per drink tip into the pool.

 

Room service does not require a tip but most people do as honestly its a pretty crappy job running around the ship with food.

Your room attendant is included in that tip that is billed to you every day...so really, no additional is needed. And, those tips cover EVERYONE who is serving you, with the exception of bartenders...but they add a tip to the cost of every drink. Check the tab to see if a tip has already been figured into the total!!!

 

It's nice to tip the room service delivery folks at time of delivery...$1-5 depending on how much they have to carry

Anytime you purchase a beverage (alcoholic or non), 15% is added to the bill for the tip.

Thanks everyone, been too long since last cruise to remember, on the Grand in December though and want to do the right thing! For the most part, I remember those who serve as a very hard working bunch!
