dons_shopper Posted November 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2011 We had to cancel our cruise and will do it in spring. The members of my first Roll Call are so nice to post their experiences. For how long will the Roll Call - of a cruise which is over by now - be listed so that I can still read about their experiences? Thank you for your answers! paul929207 Posted November 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2011 I see some that are a couple of years past the cruise dates
DanJ Posted November 22, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2011 I don't think they actually do go away. Just like most other threads, they just die off and fall down the pages due to inactivity, but they can still be brought back up. In having a quick look at the Roll Call forum, it seems that 2005 seems to be about as far back as most go, which might be about when Cruise Critic started doing Roll Call threads. PurpleCow Posted November 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2011 I was recently looking for a roll call from Spring 2009. What I did was to look at all my old posts around the time I was posting there. Then I just had to click on one of those posts to find the roll call. Rare LHT28 Posted November 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Go to the roll call page of the ship you are looking for then at the bottom to display options change the default for number of threads to" beginning " or whatever time frame you are looking in
okgirl Posted November 23, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Too long in my opinion.......if CC would delete threads that have been inactive for more than 24 months or so I think it would really improve the performance of the boards.
montana200024 Posted November 23, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 23, 2011 there is a roll call that I was in in 2005 and we are still posting.. I think it is as long as there are posters they stay, if no one post they drop off..
dons_shopper Posted November 23, 2011 Author #8 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Thank you - good to know that there is no reason to write down all the recommandations and to know that I can just return to my old Roll Call. I appreciate your help. Guess I could have found out the answer by looking long enough, just didn't know exactly how - so: Thanks again. Many happy cruises for all of you :D
