cas1000 Posted November 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2011 I am thinking of going on a 12 night med cruise on the Serenade of the seas next August with my husband, 16 year old son and 14 year old daughter. Since this is a smaller ship than the Freedom class ships will there be enough teenagers activities on board for my teenagers - other posts have talked about teenager clubs and teen areas on board the larger Independance of the seas but do these exist on the Serenade of the seas? Our son is also sport mad so are there plenty of football etc tournaments on the ship. Our other option is to go on a 7 night cruise on a Voyager class or Freedom class but the itineries and timings are not so good for us but so will we be Ok with our choice or would it be worth going for a larger ship. Rare Keith1010 Posted November 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Welcome to Cruise Critic. You may also want to post this on the RCI cruise line board. There will be a lot for the kids to do including rock climbing, basketball, miniature golf, swimming, etc and you will find kids on this ship. I recommend a 12 day over a 7 day cruise for the Mediterranean as there is so much to see and do. Keith
CruiserBruce Posted November 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Welcome to Cruise Critic! I agree with Keith, you should research this on the RCI board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=83 With a port intensive Med cruise, you won't have any problems keeping the kids busy.
