CoCo Cay in January...

The Bahamas weather is similar to Floridas....if there is a far-reaching cold front, it could be chilly. If temps stay like they are now, it will be quite warm for sunning...and if you get too hot, the water will feel refreshing.

You can check out average temps on Weather.com.

We have been on a few cruises that stopped at Coco Cay, (not necessarily January) when I thought it was too cool to go into the water. We have a great time relaxing on the beach, or walking around Coco Cay. The island is small but there is a nice nature trail - and because of bugs - is really better on a cooler day.

If you live in a really cold place – you might find a “cooler day”, not to be so bad.

Even on "cooler days" I was be comfortable in a swimsuit and cover-up.

Enjoy

We were there a week ago... Being from the northeast I found the water to be warm but all around me people were saying it was cold! The air temperature was about 82. One suggestion is bring water shoes as there are areas which are rocky......
