We paid $10 from RCL pier. I think that price is good for upto 4 people. It's an amazing place if you want to snorkel all day.

can anyone tell me how hard it is to get a taxi back to the pier at the end of day? are they readily available? thanks

Yes, there are usually 2-5 cabs sitting out front waiting to take people back. If not, they have someone dedicated to helping you with transportation, he will be more than happy to call you a taxi.

Very easy. There were cabs setting there waiting and someone there at the steps putting people in cabs as they pulled up. There was no wait. :)

You can bring your own or rent everything for $10. You can rent a life vest for free with your license at the life vest stand. You snorkel on your own at Chankanaab-no excursion. :)

I was just wondering if we need to book anything to visit, or just take a cab & show up & pay there?? I didn't see anywhere online to book.

I believe if you just want to go to the park to visit without doing any of the other activities (Dolphin Swim, etc.), you just show up. But if you want to do an activity, I'm sure you want to book that in advance. Also if you book an activity the entrance fee is included. We plan to go, but will not be doing an activity. The entrance fee is $21 pp, but we have a $2 off coupon so it will be $19 pp. Here's the coupon: http://www.cozumelinsider.com/images/specials/ChankanaabCoupon.pdf.
