Back from my first solo

Thanks for all the information and positive stories on this board!!! I never would've thought of doing it by myself until I read the posts here. I was on the Carnival Glory 11/27-12/4. Yes there were a few moments that I wished I had a travelmate but it was easy to find cruise friends on board. I was seated a table with other solos and a few of us hung out at night. I also joined the roll call and met everyone at the cocktail party and would run into them for the rest of the week.

If you are even thinking about solo cruising, just go ahead and book it. I brought a few books with me as a back-up to being bored and hardly had time to read them.

I even spent a couple extra days before the cruise in Miami and used CC to plan my trip there too.

Enjoy your cruises :D I can't wait to plan my next.

Feel free to ask any questions.
