Pre-Cruise Options Please Help...

We are flying into MIA on Friday for a Sat departure out of FLL. What is the cheapest way to get from MIA to a hotel in FLL?

 

Also we are trying to decide between

Crown Plaza- FLL Airport

Sheraton-FLL

Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina

Holiday Inn-FLL Airport

any suggestions?

 

Proximity to the port for ease of arrival and clean rooms in a safe area are our wish items!!

From MIA to the FLL area a rental car is your cheapest option. ;) A taxi will run about $85-100, depending upon which hotel :eek:, SuperShuttle or Go Airport shuttle typically charges about $40 per passenger. Larry's limos has been suggested for MIA service - typically in the $85 range and a much nicer ride than in a cab. These same options, plus the cruiseline transfer bus, apply for your return trip from PE to MIA.

In the FLL area we like the downtown/17th Stree area - particualrly the Embassy Suites: big rooms,, great breakfast, nice pool, shopping and dining options within walking distance, and free happy hour! :D
