Celebrity Excursions

Recommended Posts

My recommendation is look at tour share for Private tour in Ephesus. We did one with EKOL a few years ago, awesome. The value in Turkey is very good for pivate tours compared to most of the other countries!

Has anyone done a Celebrity excursion in Ephesus and/or Malta? We'd love to hear about it.

We have been in Ephesus and loved its great history, etc. We did not do this cruise with Celebrity, but most cruise lines use the same local providers. We can make lots of suggestions. BUT, it might be helpful to tell us more on your exact personal/travel interests, travel style, budget flexibility, past Europe experiences, etc. How much are you interested in history, countryside, museums, food, wine, art, music, shopping, architecture, etc.? Then, with more detailed information from you, we can make better, more specific suggestions on what best fits your needs and interests.

Below are of my visual samples for some key options with Ephesus. We visited Mary's House, plus the nearby museum with many artifacts from these historic areas.

THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Back from a June 7-19 Solstice cruise from Barcelona that had stops in Villefranche, ports near Pisa and Rome, Naples, Kotor, Venice and Dubrovnik. Enjoyed great weather and a wonderful trip. Dozens of wonderful visuals with key highlights, tips, comments, etc., on these postings. We are now at 51,707 views for this live/blog re-cap on our first sailing with Celebrity and much on wonderful Barcelona. Check these postings and added info at:

We did a private tour of Ephesus this past Sept. There were four of us. We had a private van/driver and tour guide. The price of the private tour worked out to be slightly less per person than the Celebrity tour. We were very pleased.
