What are the best nights for dinner in the MDR on the Eurodam?

Reading all the posts about the great dining at the Pinnacle and Tamarind, and I want to make some reservations before I cruise. My question is that I don't know whether to make them on a "sea day" or "port day". I assume the daily dinners follow from week to week on the ship and I wouldn't want to miss a lobster or other special dinner treat that only occurs once during the cruise. Maybe someone who just cruised the 7 day Eurodam Eastern Caribbean can recall the best dinner nights or the ones that were just average.

Not so fast...we were on Eurodam during Thanksgiving week and surf and turf (lobster) was the first formal night! First sea day.

Thanksgiving made for adjustments....... ;)

 

We have done that Eurodam cruise five times and always had the same dining schedule. The special holiday made it necessary to juggle it around. Thanksgiving is Thursday.... which is usually the second formal night/lobster night.

While I would be fine with lobster for Thanksgiving I suspect many would not :).

The one item I won't order on HAL -- the lobster.

 

It is a tiny lobster -- barely 3 ounces. Very salty tasting. And becuase it sits so long under the dome getting from the kitchen to the serving station and then to your table -- it becomes very gummy.
