mauiedin87 Posted December 18, 2011 #26 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Pack, and then take half of it out again and put it back in the closet! That goes especially for shoes, ladies. Think minimal quantities of everything. Another piece of advice. Be considerate of others, especially the staff. Remember, there are close to 2000 other people on board that they try to please. mtnmusic Posted December 18, 2011 #28 Share Posted December 18, 2011 One of the best kept secrets on NA is the Silk Den located around the corner from Tamarind. Great place to "hang out" with terrific views and lots of privacy.
iancal Posted December 19, 2011 #29 Share Posted December 19, 2011 If you do not live near your port of departure, plan to arrive a day early. Take half the clothing and twice the money. Don't believe all the nonsense in the ships stores about 40 or 50 percent off and duty free. Don't sweat the small stuff. Go and have a great cruise. Remenber...at the end of the cruise you actually have to pay for all those drinks that you put on your sign and sail card!

fann1sh Posted December 19, 2011 #31 Share Posted December 19, 2011 Hi Patricia Bill and I are on the Oosterdam Jan 6 to 28. It would be great if you were there. Sandra Sorry it's taken so long to say, "Yes, I'd love to see you." Life is complicated right now, so I'm sticking to Florida departures so I could be home PDQ in an emergency. I leave on Eurodam the day you get off Oosterdam! "chillax" - perfect.

Viesczy Posted December 19, 2011 #33 Share Posted December 19, 2011 Relax, have fun, pack 1/3rd of what you think you'll need, and enjoy yourself. When you're on board, feel the power of the Blue as you ride her waves. Listen to her song, feel the rhythm of life in the majesty that the Blue represents. Hear her song, feel the life of the Blue. It feels like Home. Derek
