klo28910 Posted December 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2011 What are your experiences with debarkation on the Triumph? I'm wondering how early I can be off the ship.
firefly333 Posted December 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2011 I just did it last month, so you would think I would know the time .. but I was not paying attention since I spent the night after the cruise. We had no delays and customs was very fast. Id say you will be off by 8 am. I dont remember hearing any complaints on my roll call. But it can vary .. just because its totally smooth one time, it might not be the next .. ya never know. Seemed especially smooth to me.
jhale Posted December 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Self-debark is pretty smooth. The Triumph (I found) seemed to be more organized in getting people to not crowd the halls and lobby area, so even with checked bags we were off and in the car by 10am. However, I would suggest if there is a long line once back in the terminal to grab a porter, that does make getting through the lines faster. breckbird Posted December 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 18, 2011 just off the ship and the fog kept us at sea till 5:00 but after that we were in our car by 5:35 so if you get to dock on time it dose seem to be fast
bptex Posted December 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Less than half an hour to the car, I camped out in the hall way on deck 2 though and cheated.
cruising_kenboy Posted December 19, 2011 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2011 We did the self debarkation last week. They called the lower floors first from 8:00-8:20, the middle floors 8:20-8:40, and everyone at 8:40. We were on the spa deck and left our room at 8:40 and were off the ship, through customs, and picked up by our ride and on the road by 9:15!! I was amazed. They had one line for passports and another for people with birth certificates that seemed to be slower. I doubt this is normal though, I think we just got lucky.
