What haven't you done (yet)?

I've been on Voyager for three (non-consecutive) weeks now, and you know what? There are still loads of things I haven't done! The last week I was on her, we were very much relaxing and doing very little, so I can't blame it on anything other than laziness! The list of things that I could have done, but haven't (yet) includes:

  • Used the climbing wall
  • Been ice skating
  • Casino, not even a spin on the slots!
  • Eaten in Johnny Rockets!
  • Had a Ben and Jerry's
  • Been in the gym (well maybe that's not such a problem)

So what haven't you done yet, despite having the chance?

I've also never eaten in a Specialty restaurant. Never gambled (can't anyways... :p) Been rock climbing, flow riding, ice skating, inline skating, mini golfing, zip lining, you name it, I've done it! Man I love cruising!!!!

On our last two week cruise we never walked around the outside of deck 4 or 5. We had such a relaxing cruise and just forgot to do that.

We haven't done inline skating.

We keep saying we should play a game of mini golf and haven't gotten around to that either.

More reasons to cruise again.

Hey, any reason is a good reason!

I'm an avid hiker, and have done my share of gripping onto short stretches of ledge, so I'm surprised I haven't done the rock wall yet.

Oh yeah, and have not gone into the gym, despite saying, "yes, I WILL go work out this time." :D

I was feeling pretty smug that I pretty much got to do everything ( zip line, carousel, flow rider, rising tide bar, worked out in the gym!) on board Oasis last week:cool: then I statrted thinking about it and I realized I didn't even remember there was a vitality cafe in the spa:eek: So I missed that! Of course, it would be physically impossible to eat at every venue on Oasis in one week!;)

I haven't watched sailaway from the helipad....just keep forgetting to go there.

We had never realised you could get to the helipad on Voyager until I read it on here, and did it on the last cruise.

We have never ate at specialty restaurant .

We had never eaten at a speciality restaurant until I read on here about the wine pairing dinner, and did it on the last cruise.

We had never had a balcony until I read on here about how great they were, and did it on the last cruise.

We had never bothered with the drink of the day until I read on here, and did it on the last cruise.

Man, it's expensive being on this forum! :p

We have been on the Voyager four times, the last one was a B2B and another cruise coming up on her in January.

I haven't been; ice skating or rock wall climbing only because I have osteoporosis & don't care for any broken bones even though I still consider myself young at 62 :p.

A few of the things we have done are:

Wine Dinner Series several times

Mystery Dinner Theater several times

Ate at Portofino on a regular night (not counting the Wine and Dinner series).

Sat and talked, at lenght, with the young lady in charge of all the dancers.

Met and spoke with the Head Chef (of the whole ship) while eating at Johnny Rockets

Played mini-golf (huh hum )

Read a novel while sitting on the Heli-Pad

Before our cruise on the Voyager this past October, I had filled up a booklet with tips, tricks, and advice. Despite this I, like you, did not have enough time to everything I'd planned. I am so glad we have 11 nights on the Indy because 7 nights on the Voyager wasn't enough.

My list is exactly the same as yours. I had great intentions of doing the rock climbing wall but when I volunteered for the Quest the night before, doing that split on the floor crippled me for the rest of the cruise. (Serves me right. :p:o)

I also didn't

--go to the Mystery Theatre Dinner (but I'm going to on the Indy)

--play putt putt golf (but I'm going to on the Indy)

--have a coveted corner aft (but I'm going to on the Indy)

--try the Flow-Rider (but I'm going to watch someone else do that on the Indy)

So, hmallett, what's your Indy list? :D

Well this will be the first time in an aft balcony - had a hump balcony last time. The aft balcony had better be good given all the positive reviews on CC! :p

I had completely forgotten about the flow rider on Indy, so wonder whether I might give it a try.

I might get a chance to try the rock climbing, as we have more sea days.

I aim to try the normal menu in Portofino.

I also intend to spend a substantial amount of time in the whirlpool spa!

Never watched the sun rise from my balcony (stay up way too late)

Never done the flow rider

Never had champagne in the Champagne bar

Never had a milkshake at Johnny Rockets although I've eaten there

Never had a spa session

Never participated in the Sexiest Legs or belly flop contest

Never met a RCL ship I didn't like!!!

And you're all the better for it. Sit in the theater--count the people playing, multiply it by the card cost and compare it to the payout.

Way worse than the lottery.;)

The list of things that I could have done, but haven't (yet) includes:

  • Used the climbing wall -Tried it
  • Been ice skatingNo desire, I have access to ice skating year around,
  • Casino, not even a spin on the slots! We aren't gamblers, but we may go once a cruise, did so on Voyager, won $50 on routlette
  • Eaten in Johnny Rockets! Done that, but probably won't anymore
  • Had a Ben and Jerry's No desire here again, I don't mind some premium things, but we usually pass on the calories here to save for dinner.
  • Been in the gym (well maybe that's not such a problem)I really like the Voyager class gyms.

So what haven't you done yet, despite having the chance?

All of the above were from Voyager, i won't do ice skating on any ship for the reason above. On Allure my wife did the zip line, I will not as I'm terrified of heights, but I'm glad its there for those who want it. To the things I haven't done, its more generic in I want to cruise Alaska and the southern Caribbean and possibly the Med, in that order. BUt those will have to wait til I can afford to take longer away from work.
