esimon Posted December 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2011 get lots of info before you leave -- about ports and the ship etc. Then when you get there -- sit back and enjoy -- I agree with the last comment - you can not do every thing on one cruise - Enjoy the pampering and getting to know some knew people -- check out the cruise critic posts -- lots of answers there
bonsai3s Posted December 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 21, 2011 Going on our first cruise - Navigator on March 3rd!:) Helpful comments most welcomed. What ports? You are doing the right thing simply by visiting this website. We are relatively new to CC and found it to be extremely helpful in many ways. "Meet and Mingle" for your cruise is a great way to start. First cruise: You'll either be addicted to cruising or never sail again. We were addicted and rarely do we take "land tours" anymore. Navigator: Great ship. (Recently spent 21 glorious days on the Navigator through the Mediterranean and Transatlantic) Older ship but well maintained. Great staff and service. You can choose to do as much as you want or as little as you want...best thing is to enjoy and relax. Perhaps you can read additional reviews on the ship and the ports you are visiting. Happy cruising and always smile...you'd never know who you'd meet. We love cruising for one reason...we have met sooooo many good friends onboard. :)
