The SECRET is out!

After keeping it a secret for about 8 months, we finally surprised our kids at Christmas with our planned 7 day cruise on the new MAGIC! It was so hard to keep quiet! Now, I can plan and talk about it! I can't wait!!!! I even wrapped a countdown chain for them to open on Christmas Eve!

 

Who's been on the Magic lately? I want to hear about it!!

I also surprised my kids too, but with the Carnival Dream :) I was itching to tell them way before Christmas, I was getting way to anxious 'cause I wanted to talk about it! But my hubby made me keep quiet until Christmas.

I heard the Magic is a great ship! It has lots of nice features. When are you going?

Many of us have signatures blocked. I can click on their profile and pull them up .. but I think that all the time.. why dont people tell us what cruise they are on. I agree.

We did the same with our son--but on the Legend for his HS graduation. Also surprised the family with a day at Nachi Cocom during our visit to Cozumel. Now we all have to wait.....

We did the same thing! I wrapped up a brochure and the Carnival CD in a box for each (ages 14, 11). They were so dumbfounded at first "wait, are we going away?" "are we going on a cruise", "are we going to the Carribbean?" It was GREAT!! After months of not being able to say anything (and constantly afraid my husband or I would slip) it's so nice to share the excitement with them! We sail in 9 days on the Liberty!!!

I was on the magic 12/4-12/11. AMAZING ship!! so much to do on board. I would recommend the pasta bar for lunch....VERY good!! the shows were great. the staff was incredible. if you want quiet time...head down to deck 5 and layout there. There was hardly a single person there when i sailed.

Thanks for the info! Yes, our trip is planned for May 6 on the Magic! 130 days. We did the same cruise 4 years ago and the kids are so excited. They will be older and be able to enjoy it so much more than last time!
