FLL Hotel to See Cruise Ships

I cannot remember where I stayed in FLL in the past and was able to see all the ships in the port......I think it was a Marriott?

Hyatt Pier 66 or Embassy Suites. Of course only one side of the hotel faces the port.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th. We asked for a room on a high floor overlooking the port. Boy, did we ever get a great room!!! The view was spectacular. Behind the ES is a shopping plaza with restaurants, bars, a liquor store and a market. There was a free trolley that traveled between the plaza and different parts of Ft. Lauderdale, including the beach. (This was in Oct. 2009 so I don't know if it's still free.) We never rented a car and got around very well. Should we sail out of Port Everglades again, we'll stay at ES again.
