MichelleChell Posted January 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Do any of you do anything extra to help keep your kids from getting sick before a cruise? I am always so nervous they will come down with something before we leave for a cruise.
cb at sea Posted January 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Aside from keeping them in a bubble for a month, there's really nothing you can do! Kids are always "coming down" with one thing or another....usually, it's minor and short-lived!
6rugrats Posted January 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2012 No, I just always make sure I've purchased trip insurance so we can cancel and get our money back if we need to.

6rugrats Posted January 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Definitely the best advice. I will never understand why people are so resistant to getting a passport and to purchasing travel insurance. We've had to cancel three vacations over the last several years due to illness/injury and we've gotten all our money back. It's a small price to pay.
