sampup333 Posted January 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Does anyone have any suggestions for a quick activity in Ft. Lauderdale that we could do before making a 1:10 flight? The shore excursions are only available for 2:30 flights or later. Of course, we will have luggage. We were just planning to take a taxi to the airport. We will disembark on a Monday. Thanks! It's really not much time to do anything. I would just stay on the ship a little longer. IMHO.
Trekker954 Posted January 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Technically you would need to be at the airport by 11:30 so as someone else pointed out that really isn't much time. Even if you wanted to check your bags, most airlines won't take them until 3 hours prior to your flight, where does that leave you? If you had no bags, you could jump on the water taxi or maybe jungle queen for a narrated sail down the intracoastal and see how the rich and famous live. CaribbeanCrush Posted January 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2012 That isn't much time. I think I'd just hang out on the ship, be one of the last groups off. It could cause a stressful situation trying to add a short activity...
alexkrn46 Posted January 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2012 There is a large mall Sawgrass Mills, if you rent a car, you will have a place to keep your luggage and shop, it is not that far from the airport.

SamFritz Posted January 7, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I'd go with the hang out on the ship as long as they'll let you. It will be nice to have a slow-paced schedule for the journey home.
