Gem VS Jewel

I know the Gem and Jewel are both Jewel class ships, but do they have any differences???

There are some differences, I suggest you look at the deck plans on the NCL site for comparison.

Some of the notable ones are the newer Gem has the Bliss lounge aft where the shops are on the Jewel. It features four full size bowling alleys.

The Gem also features an RCI-like rock-climbing wall aft of the funnel.

Most notable is the bowling alley/bliss lounge is available on Gem... Not on Jewel... The casino area is also a little different between the two... as the Gem's casino is a little larger, having occupied what is a hallway along side the casino on the Jewel. In fact, if you wish to travel on deck six, you cannot avoid the casino on the Gem, you must pass through it. Pool area is different as well. Gem also has a rock climbing wall...

Tremendous force of nature. Energetic, comedical, always willing to talk to you. I think he is on medical leave now due to knee surgery but will return.

If you want a CD that will get you in the mood to party and enjoy yourself, he is your man.

Personally, I prefer having the passageway around the casino, but then I am not a gambler. A trip thru the casino can be 'smoky' at times.

Sinan is great. I would chose the ship with him if he were on it. He is that funny. Otherwise the Gem is a little nicer and newer.
