Are cabins up front really that bad?

I have always booked inside cabins because I am solo. They are cheaper. Im on the Ruby Princess Caribe, mid ship. I saw obsecured view on Plaza level but way upfront available. what do u think? :confused:

It depends on the seas! If it's calm, you shouldn't have any problems. But, if it's rough, the front of the ship sort of bears the brunt of wave action and at the ends of the ship (like a see-saw) you get more up and down motion.

Iwas on a cruise last year.i was up front in a obstructed view.They said this was an upgrade.never again I was so sick.

We usually prefer to be near the forward elevators, it's never bothered us. We had extremely rough seas on our recent cruise in December, but we were midship, it was still rocking like crazy.

Can let you know after March. We have a cabin 3rd from the bow under the Bridge. Made sure cabins where above and under then found out we hare under the bridge. Anyone have experience here?
