T_Bone2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Author #30 Share Posted February 11, 2012 This time lapse of The Mariner of the Seas rotating 180" and backing into Cozumel is still my favorite!
T_Bone2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Author #31 Share Posted December 9, 2012 We loved the aft balcony. My parents had a side balcony, they said the cigarette smell from the rooms in front of them kept them from using it. We didn't notice any smoke on the aft of the ship. We just booked another aft balcony on our 2014 cruise - we can't wait!

Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted December 9, 2012 #34 Share Posted December 9, 2012 Your video created nostalgia for me because Mariner was our very first cruise ship. That was really a very pleasant walk down memory lane. Thank you.

That was really a very pleasant walk down memory lane. Thank you. The Mariner is off to Asia next year, so the Navigator will be taking her place in Galveston - anyone know of any pro's vs cons of the Navigator? Clarea Posted December 20, 2012 #36 Share Posted December 20, 2012 The Mariner is off to Asia next year, so the Navigator will be taking her place in Galveston - anyone know of any pro's vs cons of the Navigator? The ships used to be virtually identical. Mariner has had some new features added such as the outdoor movie screen, Boardwalk Dog House, Giovanni's Table, Diamond Club, and pervasive WiFi. Navigator gets most of the same features next December with the addition of Park Cafe and Chef's Table, but the loss of the Dog House.
T_Bone2012 Posted February 6, 2013 Author #37 Share Posted February 6, 2013 Nice. I love aft balconies. We also love the rear facing balcony cabins - we just booked the aft balcony #9392 on our 2014 cruise!
