klfrodo Posted January 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2012 The cab ride will only cost you about $25- $30 USD (plus tip,,,,~$5 USD) Sorry, ignore my pricing. I thought Port of Miami. I now see it's Port Everglades. You're looking at close to 75 -100 by cab. You might get better pricing if you looked into hiring a shuttle van However, to get better responses, you might want to post this on the "Roll Call" boards on the ship you are sailing I'm including a link you my want to try. I've never used them, I just did a quick google search and this is what I came up with. http://www.southfloridashuttles.com/?gclid=CIH28vm19q0CFWkbQgodoiD7sQ
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 29, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Check out your Roll Call. I don't know about you -- but my DH and I with 4 pieces of luggage and 2 carryons wouldn't be able to share a taxi with anyone.
cb at sea Posted January 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Check out SAS Transportation...google it. You do NOT want to take a cab from MIA to Port Everglades!
PennyAgain Posted January 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Sharing a taxi is a poor idea as there are often charges for the extra passengers and baggage. Your best bet is some sort of a shuttle van or bus service. Anything else is too expensive.
