How do you get icon into your post?

I keep seeing these icons, i.e. smilie faces and i can't get one to how into my post. How is it done?

Avatar - click browse for something you have saved already on your pc.

any way, I was taught to click on 'smilies' in the box bottom left. it gives you a list of what to type. I printed it off and have it by my PC. :D

Go to User CP, click on Edit Options. Scroll down to the bottom and under Miscellaneous Options change your Message Editor Interface to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing, then save. That should do it!

yes , we certainly are. 29thApril. Doing the transatlantic on the Splendour . can't wait. It will be our 14th cruise in 5 years. Guess you can say we are hooked. !! :D

Along the same vein, whatever happened to our little pictures that we used to be able to have next to our user names? I tried to re-upload mine but I don't see anyone using them anymore.

They're still there. You've got this one showing next to your name:-

 

 

If you can't see that next to your name, go to your User CP, then to Edit Options. In the Thread Display Options section, check Show Avatars. Go to the bottom of the page and Save Changes. That should do the trick.

There I am! And my signature too! I was wondering as I had "show your signature" checked for my posts why I couldn't see it...wonder why my settings changed on me, as I used to be able to see all this stuff. But there it all is now! :)

I think that some settings must have got reset in the last few days or so - quite a few people have been wondering what's happened. It may be to do with the intermittent server work that's been going on.
