Konagolfer Posted February 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Today we had a helicopter from the Chilean Navy come to evacuate a passenger from the Mariner while we were in a remote area of the fjords. I have posted a description and some pictures on my cruise blog. http://watkinscruise.blogspot.com
Rare RachelG Posted February 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Oh, dear, I hope the patient is going to be ok. BTW, loving your pics. The Seven Seas Gold and above party this segment sounds really special. I would have liked that a lot. Hope you find your underwear!
2old4this Posted February 2, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Today we had a helicopter from the Chilean Navy come to evacuate a passenger from the Mariner while we were in a remote area of the fjords. I have posted a description and some pictures on my cruise blog. http://watkinscruise.blogspot.com Great coverage of your cruise, Konagolfer. I viewed your photos and read your text and have to say, "Well done!" No word on the medical evac patient? Ships generally keep such things quiet. I wonder what the traveler's spouse did . . . that is if the patient had one. Please continue your reporting. You are benefiting us all. Hambagahle Posted February 12, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 12, 2012 In reading the excellent blog I just saw the bit about the Mariner hitting part of a pier and being a little damaged as a result. Did they manage to fix the window? It looks so dramatic in your photos!!
